On January 24, 2024 the Roseville Police Department held their annual awards ceremony to honor exceptional police work in 2023.
Individuals and units were recognized for acts that contribute to a valuable police accomplishment or an unusual accomplishment involving personal danger or serviced under adverse conditions. Additional Awards of Merit, Lifesaving Awards, and Medals of Honor were also presented.
Chief Erika Scheider was awarded the Eric Christensen Leadership Award. This is awarded to any officer who distinguishes him or herself by superior accomplishments or continuing long-term professional involvement using leadership skills that encompass but are not limited to: problem solving, planning, organization, communication, strong work ethic, high performance and positive attitude, which make a significant contribution to the Roseville Police Department and its law enforcement mission.
Citizen Awards were presented to citizens who assisted the police in a significant way.
New officers and a K9 were also sworn in at the ceremony.
